Who We Are

Caring for families with quiet dignity

We exist for one reason — so that no family should have to face the loss of a loved one alone.

Our purpose

From the very first call to the final prayers, we shoulder the arrangements, the paperwork and the rites — quietly and respectfully — so that you can spend these precious days close to the people who matter most. Every detail is handled with the same care we would give our own family.

What sets us apart

A farewell should reflect the life it honours. We hold fast to time-honoured customs and religious rites, while embracing thoughtful, modern touches — so that every service feels personal and sincere, never templated.

Every Faith, Every Tradition

Buddhist, Taoist, Christian or free-thinker — we arrange the rites faithfully according to your family's beliefs and dialect customs.

Clear, Honest Pricing

Complete packages with no hidden charges. We explain every cost before you decide, so there are no surprises during a difficult time.

Present at Every Step

A dedicated funeral director stays with your family throughout and is reachable day or night — help is only ever a phone call away.

Guidance In Difficult Moments

When a loved one passes away

In the first hours, you do not need to face the arrangements alone. Call us first — we will handle everything that follows.

1

Call Us First

Contact our 24-hour hotline. Our advisor will guide you calmly through what needs to be done, wherever the passing occurred.

2

Certification of Death

We assist with the doctor's Certificate of Cause of Death (CCOD) and the official death documentation required in Singapore.

3

Bringing Them Home

Our team transfers your loved one with care to the wake venue — void deck, funeral parlour or your home — and prepares the setup.

4

The Wake & Rites Begin

We arrange the altar, casket and monk chanting rites, so your family can focus on being present with one another.

Complete & Compassionate

Our services

A full Buddhist funeral service, arranged end to end — every detail handled with reverence.

Wake Arrangements

Full setup at HDB void deck, funeral parlour or private residence — tentage, altar, Buddha image, floral arrangements, photo enlargement and nightly support.

Monk Chanting Rites

Venerable monks conduct chanting and transference-of-merit rites — at the encoffinment, nightly prayers, funeral day and cremation, per Mahayana or Theravada tradition.

Encoffinment & Embalming

Professional embalming, dressing and encoffinment performed with dignity, with a quality casket appropriate to Buddhist customs.

Cremation & Ash Collection

Booking of the cremation slot at Mandai Crematorium, hearse and family transport, and respectful ash collection the following day.

Post-Funeral Prayers

Arrangement of 7th-day (头七), 49-day (七七) and 100-day memorial prayers, guiding your loved one's journey and bringing comfort to the family.

Columbarium & Sea Burial

Guidance on niche selection at government or temple columbaria, or arrangement of sea scattering with the appropriate Buddhist ritual.

Honouring The Dharma

Buddhist funeral rites & traditions

Each rite carries deep meaning — generating merit for the departed and guiding them peacefully toward their next journey.

Encoffinment Rite 入殓

Monks chant as your loved one is laid into the casket, blessing the departed and sanctifying the beginning of the wake.

Nightly Chanting 诵经

Evening sutra recitations — commonly the Amitabha Sutra — transfer merit to the departed while bringing calm to the bereaved.

Funeral Day Service 出殡

The final-day rite includes prayers, last respects and the procession, conducted with solemnity before the cortege departs for cremation.

49 Days of Prayers 七七四十九天

In Buddhist belief, the consciousness journeys for up to 49 days. Weekly prayers, especially the 7th and 49th day, support a favourable rebirth.

Attending The Wake

Etiquette & gentle guidance

If you are visiting to pay your respects, a few simple customs are good to know — though our staff are always on hand to guide you.

What to Wear

Dress modestly in muted tones such as white, black, blue or grey. It is customary to avoid bright colours and especially red, which signifies celebration.

Offering Respects

Approach the altar, offer a joss stick or a quiet bow, and observe a moment of silence. If you are unsure of the customs, simply follow the family's lead or ask our staff.

A Quiet Presence

There is no need for elaborate words — your presence alone brings comfort. You are welcome to sit with the family, share a memory, or simply be near.

What the Family Provides

A recent photograph for the memorial portrait, a set of the departed's clothing, and their identity documents are all that is needed — we take care of everything else.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

What should I do immediately when a loved one passes at home?

Call a doctor to certify the death (we can arrange one), then call our 24-hour hotline. Our team will take care of the transfer, documentation and all funeral arrangements from there.

Can the wake be held at an HDB void deck?

Yes. We obtain the necessary town council permit and handle the complete setup — tentage, lighting, altar, seating and nightly security — at the void deck, a funeral parlour, or your home.

Do you serve both Mahayana and Theravada traditions?

Yes. We work with venerable monks of both traditions and will arrange rites according to your family's practice and dialect group customs.

What happens after the cremation?

We accompany you for ash collection, then assist with your chosen resting place — a columbarium niche, sea scattering with Buddhist ritual, or other arrangements — plus the 7th-day, 49-day and 100-day prayers.
